"ptak appreciates old racecars" (racecarptak)

I have a tumblr blog on old pictures from car advertisements called !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . The cars in the pictures have been slammed by aid of a decade-old version of MS Paint. Aside from the fun factor, it's all a study in how much simply lowering a car can do to change the look of a car. That, and I feel that a lot of old cars need no more modification than a simple lowering. Some of them are more extensively modified for the heck of it, and some aren't even from brochures at all.
Enjoy and forgive me if some of them are mislabeled, I've done a ton of them.
1961 Dodge Lancer (wagon, sedan, coupe)
1980 Polski Fiat 126p
1965 Ford Mustang
1970 Porsche 911 Carrera
1990 Pontiac Grand Prix (extensively modified)
1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint
1940 Graham Hollywood
1965 Mercury Monterey
1991 Buick Regal (coupe, sedan)
1970 Lamborghini Miura
More next week if you like them...

The guy I bought my Miata from had a black Lancer like in the top pic. It wasn't slammed, though. Just eyeballing it, I don't think you could get it that low with the stock wheels.

The Grand Prix, Graham and Mercury actually look pretty acceptable.

The Montereys are the only ones that look 'right'.
